Your Goldendoodle puppy has been well cared for during his/her stay at Goldendoodle Dandies home.

From the day your puppy was whelped he/she has been lovingly protected and socialized. If it has been a while since you have had a new puppy or if this is your first experience with a puppy, we offer and recommend these guidelines.

Naming Your Goldendoodle Puppy:

If you have picked out a name for your puppy, please let us know the name you have chosen. We will start using it and get him/her familiar with its sound. Most puppies will not completely know their name until they are with you and only hear their name one on one.

When choosing a name there are a couple of things to consider:

1. Will you want to call it out in your neighborhood or Public Park?

2. Don’t pick anything close or rhymes with command words like Jo, too close to NO.

Choosing a name is important. You can use the Internet and Google “Puppy Names” for ideas. Some families wait until the puppy comes home before naming them to make sure the name is the right “fit.” Either way, find a name that you love and that is easy to pronounce for calling and training your puppy. I personally feel that a 2 syllable name is easiest for the puppy to recall.
